Shipping and Postage
At Quilter's Bazaar we will only ever charge you the actual cost of the shipping and the packaging materials for your order. We don't charge a handling fee, as we believe this is part of our service to you. We don't place a profit on top of packaging, postal or freight charges.
We generally use Australia Post for parcels within Australia, although some larger items (eg. rolls of batting, larger mats) are better shipped by courier. Australia Post does not offer postal insurance on standard post items, but for a small fee your order can be sent registered post, which includes up to $100 insurance. Extra insurance can also be purchased at $1.15 per $100 or part thereof.

Packaging
Where possible we reuse packaging materials (if in good, clean condition) to further reduce the cost to you, and also to our environment. We always try to use recyclable packaging where possible. The exception to this may be bubblewrap, so if you receive some from us please reuse it if you can.

What will my postage cost?
Below are examples of postage costs for orders within Australia. Where we find the actual postage and packaging costs to be less than the amounts below we will charge you the lesser amount.

Up to 125 grams - New pricing	eg. 2 fat quarters	As little as $1
Up to 250 grams	eg. 5 fat quarters	Up to $4.20
Over 250 grams up to 500 grams	eg. 2.5-3 metres of fabric	$5.40
Over 500 grams up to 3kg ( In an Australia Post 3kg satchel - 405 x 310mm)	eg. 6-7 books	$7.20 - Melbourne, $9.30 - Rest of Australia

Most of our products will fit into one of the categories above. Where an item is too large to fit in a 3kg satchel, we will ship by the most economical method.
